Day Walk: Deeside Loop Munros
Take in three classic Cairngorm Munros from Deeside – Derry Cairngorm, Ben Macdui and Carn a’Mhaim.
This is a classic Cairngorm round taking in the beautiful forests of the Mar Lodge estate before ascending high towards our first Munro of Derry Cairngorm. From here we will have stunning views of the surrounding lochs and corries. Our second Munro is Ben Macdui, the second highest mountain in the UK and highest in the Cairngorms. Our return will take us over our third Munro, Carn a’Mhaim, and give us views over to Braeriach, Carn Toul, the Devil’s Point and the Lairig Ghru.

Equipment
Personal walking gear including waterproofs, boots and warm clothing. We will provide hot drinks along the route, but you will need to provide your own packed lunch, any personal snacks and cold drinks.

Starting and finishing at the Linn of Dee near Braemar. Final meeting location and time will be confirmed by your guide.
