Located in a remote area of the Highlands, the Fannichs are an impressive mountain range with 9 Munro peaks. Our route will take us via these classic Munros over a leisurely 3 days with 2 high overnight wild-camps.

Our route will begin and end on the south side of the mountain range via Loch Fannich. The days are long; walking off path, along some boggy sections will be required, although the terrain is fairly easier going compared the mountains that surround this area.

Splitting the total distance into 3 days will provide extra time to enjoy and explore this remote area as we cover a total of around 50km. With stunning views en route including Beinn Dearg and the iconic peaks of An Teallach and Beinn Eighe of Wester Ross, this is a great introduction to multi-day mountain walking.

Munros included on the route are as follows:

  • An Coileachan (923m)
  • Meall Gorm (949m)
  • Beinn Liath Mhor Fannaich (954m)
  • Sgurr Mor (1110m)
  • Meall na Crasgaidh (934m)
  • Sgurr nan Clach Geala (1093m)
  • Sgurr na Each (923m)
  • Sgurr Breac (999m)
  • A’Chailleach (997m)
